wa, tough day. traumatising i must say. didn't know what hit me as the teachers rushed through their lectures and left the 4 of us in a daze. it's really a lot of independent work, not like sg where the students are really lucky to be spoonfed a lot by the lecturers who take time to prepare the lecture notes. in ltu, they depend on the txtbks and the notes are skimpy. like what meng said, in sg we struggle to score As while we struggle to pass in ltu! haha..
on sunday, we went to willys and we had ice cream in the freezing temperatures! haha. quite an experience. though not really what i expected, maybe it wasn't cold enough still haha. also i was woken up by erm..ice rain falling on my window! scary.
yesterday's dinner was quite a feast! with the 3 french peeps julian, sebastian and diane, the german kerstin and swede gustaf. we were treated to an italian style salad, rosti and the most exotic one of all, reindeer meat! so sinful though, imagine the reindeer alive and now in your mouth, yikes. we treated them to curry chicken and they found it very spicy. haha. but they said that it's nice. more to come in the following months.
