yesh, off to rovaniemi we go this saturday. it's the home town of santa claus apparently in finland. heard some stories about how santa is actually a character made up by coca-cola and it got so popular that people believed he existed naturally. that's successful propaganda or advertisment =P it's going to be a long day trip(actually considering the short daytime nowadays, maybe calling it a night trip would be more apt). assembling at 5am in the morning and estimated to be back at 9pm. pray hard that the temperatures will be good at just slightly below 0.
it was so misty yesterday after i got back from ice skating. the temperature have changed from -13 to -5 in a day. not a good sign as it may indicate that the snow will melt away!! in that case it'll be so much harder to cycle to school without the snow as the roads will be left with ice and so slippery!!
classes are not bad but there's this course which is quite out of line with our module in ntu. it's a good break from the monotonous equations. however it may affect our year 4 module. haha. we'll see how it goes.
xiaomeng is going to paris in 4 more days! so good la hahaha.
